Yes, I landed on the NFT market right now! Coming from behind, passing to front.
I’ve been thinking for a while how to step on some unusual path for an established old analog photographer like me. What gallery, social network, spotlight to search for if I want to expand my audience, visibility and – definitely – sales? Should I go for the abused trails of social networking, landing on TikTok? Should I double my actual commitment I already have with IG for to launch a brand-new social profile that has zero followers at time of opening?
No. If I have to work hard to set up something new, I go for the most advanced fronter that nowadays the world has to offer.
Why not the NFT market? It may sound weird if thinking at someone like me that has been working with his own hands for decades. I have built my own tools and gears, made all my photographs by long and hard handmade processes. I like to see what I make. I like to give a fungible item to my clients. On my web shop you can find real photographs and prints you can touch, not only see. But it’s time to split the offer.
Times are changing fast, and they are going to change even faster.
As faster as we have never seen in our entire lives. I have seen live exhibitions events reduced to zero from a day to another. And I don’t see any future for live events. Indeed there will be live events again, as a desire for art raises everyday.
Collectors are opening new trails for to get to art.
The boom of the NFT and crypto markets are an evidence of that. So – i thought to myself – why not to go for the extreme other point of this crazy market, heading towards the non-fungible token world?
I’m aware that’s not a silver-bullet at all. I’m aware that the spot light needs to be physically turned over my art and collectors art not scouting for me day and night. But that’s an added option to my career. I like adventures and I like to explore.
So here I am! I opened my very first NFT account with Valuables by Cent.
Want to buy some NFT art? Want to support art and artists? This is a great chance to start with 😉
More tweets will follow. And I will mint more NFT works of art for to sell on other NFT platforms. Stay tuned, follow me to take me on new adventures with art made in old 19th century style for the third millennnium!
