The Castle of the Conti Guidi of Poppi will be the next exposition site for the photographic exhibition ‘La Dolce Vita Made in Germany’, opening on July 4th 2015.
After the prestigious site as the cloister of the church of Santa Maria Maggiore of Florence, another ancient, historical and prestigious site will be cradle of the black and white baryta prints by Michele Pero.
As like as the church of Santa Maria Maggiore, also the Castle of the Conti Guidi was erected between the IX and X century. A very long bridge, cast across Middle Age and 2nd Millennium, is thus connecting the exhibition about German’s lifestyle, the leading people of Europe, as it is at the dawn of the XXI Century.
Saturday, July 4th, at 6pm, official opening of the exhibition. Every body are invited. The exceptional free entry allows visit of the entire Castle.
Il Castello dei Conti Guidi di Poppi sarà la prossima sede espositiva della mostra “La Dolce Vita Made in Germany”, in apertura il 4 Luglio 2015.
Dopo la prestigiosa sede del chiostro della chiesa di Santa Maria Maggiore di Firenze, un’altra sede antica, di notevole interesse storico e architettonico, farà di nuovo da cornice alle stampe baritate in bianco e nero di Michele Pero.
Come la chiesa di Santa Maria Maggiore, anche il Castello dei Conti Guidi fu eretto fra l’800 e il 900. Un ponte lungo, fra Alto Medioevo e II Millennio, unisce l’esposizione che parla della modernità e dello stile di vita del popolo tedesco, guida d’Europa all’alba di questo Nuovo Millennio.
Sabato 4 Luglio, ore 18, apertura alla presenza dell’autore, con ingresso gratuito, aperto a tutti, e possibilità di visita di tutto il Castello.
