This is a picture from my project “La Dolce Vita Made in Germany”.
This specific image was taken in Passau, using a Minolta CLE camera on a Rollei RPX 400 film and printed on Adox MCC110 silver-gelatine classic black and white fiber-based paper by myself in my lab.
The surface of this print is not glossy, not matt, not satin, not velvet. It’s Michele’s style, because I print on “glossy” FB papers but I don’t glaze my prints, instead I force dry them with a rotative hot dryer. The finished surface looks grainy and shiny at the same time.
